OIA acquired a business and needed to transfer all of the order processing and finances onto their own systems. With my deep knowledge of the business and technology implementations … I project managed all technical aspects of the Dynamics AX 4.0 ERP transition (including ancillary custom .NET web application which were integrated into Dynamics). This involved re-installing, reconfiguring, and testing the system while ensuring that sensitive data was scrubbed from the database. I individually created and clarified the detailed cutover processes and performed the data cutover using SQL scripts I’d created to backup, restore, and scrub the data. I worked with subject matter experts (e.g. Finance, Operations, and IT) in both organizations to validate the expectations and needs to transition successfully.
